The Importance of Positive Reading in Building Our Personal Development and Learning Capacity
At the individual level:
"Those who do not seek to grow & develop, are always dwarfed & impaired in esteem, emotional, intellectual, mental and perceptive handicap & limitations".
At the social level, as living societal beings we are, then:
"Those who do not seek to grow & develop, are always dwarfed & impaired in personal, social, spiritual and leadership handicap and limitations that crippled them from becoming an effective & respected leader".
Therefore, it is important to continuously read, learn, and develop our capacity for knowledge and life-skills abilities in order to remain relevant and of value to our own self-perceived well-beings, as well as of able to be of benefits to others too. Without that knowledge and life-skills abilities capacity, we will always be at a disadvantage as in being made to feel, and therefore would acted in like an impaired and dwarf by those limitations we had ignore to expand, groom and develop earlier on in our life.
That explains why it is important now -- in our youth and our still living days as we are now -- to begin learning to do so. Waiting at the old age of retirement to laze down with reading materials might in truth, be not as a viable option -- as by that time, we might have lost much of the gifted senses and health to carry out such development that had ought to be done in youth.
Reading (and writing) is one such exercise that would benefit us in such manner of development we seek after. Its not as hard an activity as many perceived it to be; its in learning that it benefited us in such manner of lifting us beyond mental, emotional and spiritual poverty, beyond ignorance, beyond passiveness, and beyond shallowness to life full of richness (materially perhaps, as well as, rich in esteem, spiritual wisdom, emotional intelligence, and perhaps rich too in term of social liquidity), to greatness as in being able to perform and function to the best of wisdom and leadership, then perhaps the mental paradigm of uneasiness and reluctance, can be shifted to one that lead to true enjoyment and joy of seeking to read what is there that are positively nutritional and enriching products of writings for our mental, emotional, intellectual, spiritual, esteem and perceptive growth and health.
